Accompanying every pregnancy is the required information needed for registering calfs.
We make it a priority to keep our Customers up to date on the status of all their embryos/pregnancies.

Recipient Rental - $1200

Customer's embryos are implanted (billed separately by Kirkton Vets) in our Recipients that have been tested negative for leukosis, neospora and BVD. All Recipients will be ultra sounded and sexed at 60 days, at which time an invoice will be sent and the Recipient is to be picked up by the Customer. Trucking can be arranged.

*If a Cesarean is required there is an additional $1200 charge to the Customer

**If a Recipient dies, the Customer is responsible for paying the current market value of the animal


IVF 5-2 Embryo Quality Surcharge

Fresh embryos implanted that have been graded 5.2 will have a $350 surcharge due to lower pregnancy rate and the associated costs that result. This fee will be reimbursed if the implant results in a pregnancy.

Calf Program - $2950

Customers' embryos are implanted (billed separately by Kirkton Vets) in our Recipients that have been tested negative for leukosis,neospora and BVD. All Recipients will be ultra sounded and sexed at 60 days, at which time an invoice for $1200 will be issued. Then there will be 7 monthly payments of $250 each. At birth each calf's naval will be dipped in iodine and they will be raised in hutches (with calf coats in Winter months). They are fed high energy 150HG colostrum for the first feeding, 100HG colostrum for the second feeding, along with selenium, vitamin E and Inforce 3. Next they are fed milk replacer (26milk protein-17 fat with decox). All calves are dehorned before 1 month of age. Finally, each calf is moved to group hutches at weaning and fed 21 % calf starter with decox. Each calf is tagged and hair is pulled and sent away for genetic testing (billed separately by Validity Genetic Services). Calves will be ready for pick up at 90 days. Although every effort is taken to provide the best care for the Recipient and calf, a live calf is not guaranteed.

*Bulls do not receive any vaccinations and are housed separately, away from others to insure eligibility for entry in to Bull studs.
